Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GetRawLink processes information when you visit GetRawLink.com or use the GetRawLink service.

1. Who operates GetRawLink

GetRawLink is operated by:

Roman KociánCzech RepublicEmail: roman.kocian@gmail.com

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Roman Kocián is the data controller where GetRawLink determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

2. What GetRawLink does

GetRawLink allows you to submit a public share link from a supported cloud service and attempts to generate direct media URLs for the publicly shared media.

No media storage

GetRawLink does not store your submitted media or extracted media links as part of the extraction service.

Your submitted share link must be processed temporarily by our servers and extraction infrastructure in order to perform the requested extraction.

3. Information processed when you use the service

Public share links

When you request an extraction, the public share link you enter is transmitted to GetRawLink's servers so that the service can process your request.

The submitted link and resulting extracted media URLs are used to provide the requested service and are not intentionally stored by GetRawLink as a persistent history of your extractions.

Technical request information

When you access a website, certain technical information may necessarily be processed by the servers and infrastructure used to deliver it. This may include information such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, and technical information required for security, networking, diagnostics, rate limiting, and reliable operation of the service.

GetRawLink may process this information where necessary for the legitimate interests of operating, protecting, troubleshooting and preventing abuse of the service.

4. Anonymous extraction statistics

GetRawLink maintains aggregate counters relating to successful extractions, such as the number of extractions during recent time periods.

These counters are not designed to contain your share link, extracted URL, media, filename, cloud account information, or IP address. They are used to provide aggregate service statistics.

5. Google Analytics

GetRawLink uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the website and to improve the service.

Depending on your consent choices and the configuration of Google Consent Mode, Google may receive information about interactions with the website. Where analytics storage requires your consent, GetRawLink uses your consent choice to control the relevant analytics storage.

When consent is denied, Google Consent Mode may still allow limited, cookieless measurement signals to be sent to Google. These signals are designed to operate without Analytics cookies, but this does not mean that no information is transmitted to Google.

Google may process information on infrastructure located outside your country. Google's processing is also governed by Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.

6. Cookies and local storage

GetRawLink uses browser storage necessary to remember your cookie and privacy preferences. Analytics or marketing-related storage is handled according to the consent choices presented to you.

You can review or change your consent choices using the Cookie settings control available on GetRawLink.

7. Supported cloud services

GetRawLink currently works with public share links from services including Google Photos, Google Drive, Apple iCloud Photos and Microsoft OneDrive.

To process a link you submit, GetRawLink may need to communicate with the relevant cloud provider and its infrastructure. Those providers operate their own services and process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

GetRawLink is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Apple or Microsoft.

8. Service providers and infrastructure

GetRawLink relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the website, deliver network traffic, host application components, provide analytics, and maintain the security and availability of the service.

Information may therefore be processed by service providers where this is necessary to provide their services to GetRawLink. GetRawLink aims to limit processing to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

9. International data transfers

Some third-party providers used by GetRawLink may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, such transfers are subject to the safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

10. How long information is kept

GetRawLink does not maintain a persistent history of the public share links or extracted media URLs submitted through the extraction service.

Aggregate extraction counters are retained only for the limited period required to calculate recent service statistics.

Technical logs or information processed by infrastructure and analytics providers may have separate retention periods required for security, diagnostics, service operation or analytics.

11. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the type of processing, GetRawLink may rely on one or more of the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Performance of a service: processing necessary to respond to the extraction request you initiate.
  • Legitimate interests: operating, securing, troubleshooting and protecting GetRawLink and preventing abuse.
  • Consent: where your consent is required for analytics, cookies or similar technologies.
  • Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

12. Your data protection rights

If the GDPR or another applicable data protection law applies to you, you may have rights including the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or to object to certain processing.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Some rights depend on the circumstances and legal basis of the processing and therefore may not apply in every case.

To make a privacy request, contact roman.kocian@gmail.com .

13. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

In the Czech Republic, the supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

14. Security

GetRawLink uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect the service and the information processed through it. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

15. Children

GetRawLink is a general-purpose technical utility and is not specifically directed at children. GetRawLink does not intentionally request children to provide personal information through the extraction service.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the service, its technology, its providers or applicable legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated.
